Multiple charges have been filed against a Royal man accused of threatening to kill a woman and a witness in an incident early Saturday near Francis Sites, just southeast of Spirit Lake.
43-year-old Jedediah Olsen of Royal was charged with going armed with intent, assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, domestic abuse assault while displaying or using a weapon…1st offense, harassment in the 1st degree, criminal mischief in the 2nd degree, and assault while participating in a felony.
A criminal complaint filed by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office accuses Olsen of using a tire iron, shattering the windows of a vehicle while the female victim was inside it. He’s also accused of threatening to kill her and another person who witnessed the incident.
Olsen is being held in the Dickinson County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
