Proclamation Adds More Provisions For Counties Impacted by Flooding

Governor Reynolds has issued a proclamation that adds more provisions for counties impacted by recent widespread flooding.

The proclamation is for counties including Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, O’Brien, Palo Alto, and Pocahontas. The governor’s proclamation allows for additional targeted suspension of specific regulatory requirements in affected counties to effectively respond to and recover from the flooding effects.

Several provisions have been added to the ones that were previously issued as a result of severe weather and flooding starting on June 21st. More information can be found below.

  • Temporarily suspend the regulatory provisions to the extent those provisions restrict the movement of permitted loads at night or movement under permit on holidays. 
  • Temporarily suspend the provisions prescribing fees for the issuance of duplicate registrations and certificate of title for snowmobiles. 
  • Temporarily suspend the provisions prescribing fees for the issuance of duplicate registrations and certificate of title for all-terrain vehicles. 
  • Temporarily suspend the provisions prescribing fees for the issuance of duplicate registrations and certificates of title for vessels. 
  • Temporarily suspend the provisions prescribing Department of Natural Resources fees for the issuance of duplicate licenses for hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses and duplicate hunter safety certificates.
