The Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency has a new chief administrator.
Dr. Dan Mart took over the position at the beginning of this month. Dr. Mart has served as superintendent in multiple Iowa school districts, including Graettinger-Terril. He also previously served as PK-12 principal in the Graettinger Community School District.
“I grew up in this area, having graduated from Terril High School,” said Dr. Mart. “It is an honor and privilege to serve in this area again. I look forward to working collaboratively with area and district leadership to continue to develop partnerships to benefit our families.”
Dr. Mart is a Terril High School graduate. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Buena Vista University, and a Ph.D in educational leadership from Iowa State University.
