On Sunday, at about 5:30 pm, a Clay County Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the 3600 mile of 130th Avenue in Peterson. The driver of the vehicle, William Hotz Jr., age 45, of Peterson, had a warrant for his arrest and was also fraudulently using someone using else’s license plates.
Hotz Jr. was arrested and transported to the Clay County Jail. He was served the warrant, being charged with Fraudulent Use of Registration, Operating without Registration, and No Insurance, all Simple Misdemeanors.
Hotz Jr. was held on a $300 cash or surety bond with the ability to post 10% of the bond. In addition, Hotz Jr. was held on a $615.63 bond on the charges.
