The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what it’s describing as a “cyber security incident” that has impacted some of its systems.
A post on the department’s Facebook page says they’re working with I-T experts to try to find out more about the incident and to resolve any disruption of certain systems and operations.
The statement goes on to say that most of their systems had been restored and were fully functional as of late Thursday afternoon, but a few have remained offline out of an abundance of caution. It goes on to say that they have no further information as of now.
