The Palo Alto County Drainage Districts will be receiving 303 thousand dollars in federal money to repair damages sustained from flooding in 2019.
The funding was announced in a press release by 4th District Congressman Randy Feenstra, who said it’s critical that drainage districts remain functional to prevent flooding, especially on farmland, and maintain land usage.
Feenstra encourages Iowans in the 4th District to contact his office online at Feenstra.House.Gov with any requests for federal assistance.
