Owners of Local Convenience Store Chain Donate to Community Action Agency

The owners of The Brew convenience stores have given back to the community for Thanksgiving.

Inder and Sherry Singh donated 30 turkeys to the Upper Des Moines Opportunity Food Pantry so they can be distributed to local families in need. A news release states that The Brew is committed to supporting those who may be facing food insecurity during the holiday season. The donation of 30 turkeys is part of their ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of neighbors and to promote the spirit of gratitude and sharing.

While delivering the donated turkeys, the Singhs learned more about the services offered at Upper Des Moines including fuel assistance, food, and a program that sponsors families and elderly individuals in the community to provide gifts and necessities for the holidays. The Singhs committed to support that program this year.
