Over a Hundred Units of Blood Collected at Storm Lake LifeServe Blood Drives

A total of 112 units of blood were collected at five LifeServe Blood Center blood drives in Storm Lake this month.

The amount of blood collected has the ability to save up to 336 lives. The blood drives were hosted to support the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center and over 160 other hospitals served by the LifeServe Blood Center.

Three LifeServe blood drives are scheduled in Storm Lake in December including Tuesday, December 3rd from 12:30 to 5:30pm at St Mark’s Lutheran Church…Thursday, December 5th from 11am to 4pm for the McKenzie Herrig Scholarship Drive at BVRMC…and Friday, December 20th from 9am to 1pm at the United Methodist Church.
