Storm Lake’s 2nd annual Oktoberfest will be held this weekend.
The event is scheduled for tomorrow (Sat) beginning at 6:30pm at Lake Avenue Lounge. Freshly grilled brats, sauerkraut, and other classic Oktoberfest food will be served. All food at the event is free thanks to local sponsors.
There will be a costume contest to find the individual with the most authentic, creative, and spirited Oktoberfest outfit. Prizes include 50, 25, and ten dollars in Storm Lake Bucks, as well as the title of “Best Oktoberfest Outfit.”
Malek’s Fisherman Band will be playing traditional German folk tunes and catchy polka. The Storm Lake Oktoberfest tomorrow (Sat) is free of charge.
