A small plane crashed on a homeowner’s land near Linn Grove over the weekend.
According to The National Transportation Safety Board, the incident Saturday afternoon involved a Van’s RV-9 airplane. According to preliminary information, the small plane was returning from a local personal flight and made contact with a nearby grass area while attempting to land at a private airport. The aircraft came to a rest inverted in a nearby field.
The pilot was transported to a nearby hospital. The pilot’s condition is unknown.
