The City of Storm Lake is gearing up for its first ever downtown concert, and the start time for the show has been moved up.
The Downtown Jam show featuring Cory Waller and the Wicked Things will now start at 6pm on Thursday, August 10th. Admission will be free. The band was nominated for Midwest Country Music Association Band of the Year.
The outdoor concert on August 10th will be held in the Erie Street parking lot D in downtown Storm Lake between Railroad and 5th Streets. The surrounding block of Erie Street will be closed for the evening. Local food trucks are invited to bring their fare to the event.
Storm Lake’s recently completed Downtown Master Plan aims to make the area a destination and gathering place.
