Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City has a new Chief Executive Officer.
Linn Block, a Lake City native, accepted the position last week. Block is currently the CEO at the Manning Regional Healthcare Center, and has served in that position for the last four years.
Block has worked in healthcare leadership for 18 years, and has been a nurse for 32 years. During her time at the Manning Healthcare Center, she worked to improve access to care while enhancing team-member engagement. Block was recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the 80 Rural Hospital CEO’s to Know in 2023. Block’s efforts helped the Manning facility earn a 2022 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for Employee Engagement.
