Nearly One-Hundred Units of Blood Collected at September Storm Lake LifeServe Blood Drives

A total of 94 units of blood were collected at four LifeServe blood drives in Storm Lake this month.

The amount of blood collected has the ability to save to up 282 local lives. The blood drives were hosted to support the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center, as well as more than 150 other hospitals served by LifeServe.

Two blood drives are scheduled in Storm Lake during the month of October. A blood drive will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd from 12:30 to 5:30pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church…and a blood drive is scheduled on Friday, October 20th from 9:30am to 1:30pm at the United Methodist Church.
