This is the 100th year that the Mr. Goodfellow program is serving children in Buena Vista County.
Through Mr. Goodfellow, coats, snow pants, boots, gloves, and hats are purchased for kids who can’t afford them. The Mr. Goodfellow fund is managed by the Storm Lake Times Pilot. It was originally established by the Pilot Tribune’s publisher W.C. Jarnagin. Children who attend schools within BV County benefit from the program, including Storm Lake, Storm Lake St. Mary’s, Alta Aurelia, Newell Fonda, and Sioux Central, and Albert City Truesdale.
