More Information Released into Body Found at Sheldon Motel Last Month

Police are now saying that no foul play is suspected in the death of a man whose body was found last month at a Sheldon motel.

Sheldon Police Chief Scott Burtch has identified the man as 64-year-old John Hill, who’s from Missouri. Burtch says an autopsy was performed by the State Medical Examiner’s Office. He says toxicology results are still pending and that the investigation is continuing.

Hill’s body was found on September 27th at the Holiday Inn in Sheldon after police received a report about a deceased person at that location. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has also been involved in the probe.
