More Arrests Made in Recent Assault Case Outside Storm Lake Apartment Complex

Two more arrests have been made in connection to an alleged assault incident outside of an apartment complex in Storm Lake.

According to the Storm Lake Police Department, a male victim informed officers back on Sunday, December 10th that he had been assaulted by five males that day outside of the apartments at 1800 East Milwaukee Avenue. The victim said the suspects began arguing with him and then hit him multiple times with their fists which resulted in serious injuries to the victim.

One of the suspects, 19-year-old Arun Keyanye of Storm Lake was arrested on the scene. Two other suspects, 32-year-old Faheem Boutte and 22-year-old Jamuo Gatwech, both of Storm Lake, were arrested last Tuesday, December 12th.

Last Thursday morning December 14th, Storm Lake Police located a man in the 700 block of Flindt Drive who was wanted in connection to the incident, identified as 23-year-old Chuol Gatluak of Storm Lake. Gatluak was charged with Assault While Participating in a Felony Serious Injury, a class C felony…and Participating in a Riot, a class D felony.

On Monday morning of this week, another suspect in the case, 20-year-old Odoll Agowa of Storm Lake, surrendered himself at the Buena Vista County Jail. A warrant charged Agowa with Assault While Participating in a Felony Serious Injury, and Participating in a Riot.

Agowa and Gatluak, as well as the other three suspects, have all been booked into the BV County Jail on ten-thousand dollar bonds.
