This past Sunday morning, June 4th, a call was prompted to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office regarding a suspicious vehicle with its doors open in Everly. About 20 minutes later, another notice was made to the Deputy’s Office in connection to a suspicious male about a mile east of the original call.
Dale Binger, age 54, of Willmar, MN was located and taken to a hospital in East Spencer. Further examination at the hospital led to the discovery of Binger being under the influence.
Binger was released then arrested for O.W.I. (1st), a serious misdemeanor, and transported to the Clay County Jail. Additional charges to Binger include Stopping, Standing, or Parking on the Paved Portion of the Roadway, a simple misdemeanor.
