A missing person was located early this (Mon) morning in Clay County.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the department’s communications center received a call from the 24 hundred mile of Highway 18 at approximately 10:15 last (Sun) night. The communications center was told that an older male had walked out of his home and could not be located. Deputies arrived shortly after the call was received, and additional help was requested. Several agencies took part in the search.
Approximately two-and-a-half hours later, the missing person was located around two miles away from his home. The man was uninjured, and was transported to a hospital for observation.
Side by sides, a drone, and thermal imagers were utilized during the search.
