March to End Gun Violence on June 11th

You are invited to participate in a nonpartisan event hosted by concerned community members and in conjunction with the March For our Lives (Again!) happening in Washington DC and in other locations worldwide, calling for an end to gun violence. On Saturday, June 11th at 1:30, we will gather at the east entrance of the Storm Lake Elementary School, 1812 Hyland Drive. There will be a brief welcome and explanation of our event followed by a silent walk around the building in memory of the lives lost to and affected by gun violence. At the end of our walk, we will have opportunities to learn more about the extent and impact of gun violence, as well as ways to take action by encouraging legislators and government leaders to make those policy changes that will keep our children (and all of us) safer from gun violence. All are welcome and we invite everyone to wear blue in solidarity with those marching in Washington DC the same day.
