Four Iowans, including one from Manson, died in a plane crash in Indiana Friday morning.
The plane had departed from Fort Dodge, and crashed northeast of Indianapolis. One of the individuals on board was 36-year-old Braden Hicks of Manson. Four people were on board. There were no survivors of the crash. The single-engine plane was reportedly told to reroute while attempting to land at Anderson Municipal Airport in Indiana because it was coming in at too high an altitude.
The crash is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
