Manson Man Claims Two Prizes From Powerball Drawing Last Week

A Calhoun County man has claimed two prizes he won in last Wednesday’s Powerball drawing.

Nicholas Carlson of Manson won 100-thousand dollars on one play, and won 14 dollars on another. Carlson’s 100-thousand dollar winning play matched four of five white balls and the Powerball to win the game’s third prize level. Both of Carlson’s initial prizes were doubled because he opted for the one-dollar Power Play option at the time of purchase.

Carlson bought his winning ticket at the Country Store in Manson. He claimed his prize last Thursday at the Iowa Lottery’s Storm Lake regional office.
