A man wanted on multiple warrants was located in Storm Lake late last week.
According to the Storm Lake Police Department, the wanted man, identified as 31-year-old Jaime Hernandez of La Vista, Nebraska, was located last Friday at 1831 North Lake Avenue in Storm Lake. Hernandez was wanted on warrants out of Buena Vista and Plymouth Counties charging him with Probation Violation in reference to Eluding and 3rd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance, as well as Failure to Appear for Driving While Barred. After taking Hernandez into custody, police allege they located drug paraphernalia on his person.
Hernandez was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a 63 hundred dollar bond. He was additionally charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
