A Spencer man taken into custody on a warrant for a mandatory mittimus now also faces multiple drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 61-year-old Carl Leggett was arrested this past Saturday, September 7th. Deputies discovered Leggett was allegedly in possession of hydrocodone. Upon further investigation, Leggett was found to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine as well.
Leggett was booked into the Clay County Jail on charges of failure to affix a drug tax stamp, possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…2nd offense, possession of hydrocodone…2nd offense, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
