A Storm Lake man was arrested after entering a residence without permission and assaulting occupants.
According to the Storm Lake Police Department, officers were called to the residence in the 1000 block of Northwestern Drive at approximately 8:45pm Thursday. 25-year-old Marco Salcedo Garcia had allegedly been asked to leave the residence and refused. Salcedo Garcia was allegedly escorted out of the residence. He returned a short time later, forced a door open, entered the home, and assaulted occupants.
Salcedo Garcia was taken into custody on scene without incident and charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, a class C felony. Salcedo Garcia was booked in the Buena Vista County Jail on a five thousand dollar bond.
