Lytton Man Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse of a Child

A Lytton man has been arrested for sexually abusing a child.

According to the Sac County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation began back on June 30th. A man was notified of messages between his 13-year-old daughter and 38-year-old Antonio Pharms. Pharms was arrested later that evening in an unrelated case for Violation of a No Contact Order.

The girl was interviewed by the Child Advocacy Center in Waterloo. During the interview, it was learned that Pharms and the girl had sexual contact at least three times in the previous two months.

Pharms was officially charged this past Saturday with three counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse, and three counts of Lascivious Acts With a Child. Pharms has been held in the Sac County Jail since June 30th. He’s being held on a 105-thousand dollar bond.

The Iowa Department of Human Services has also been working on this case.
