The first Storm Lake legislative forum of the current Iowa Legislative Session will be held this weekend.
The event will be held this Saturday, February 13th at 11:30am at King’s Pointe Resort. The gathering will provide a chance to communicate directly with state lawmakers from the area on current issues. The legislative forums are typically attended by Iowa State Representative Megan Jones and Iowa State Senator Lynn Evans. The event is free and open to the public.
Legislative forums are also scheduled March 15th and April 12th at 10am, also at King’s Pointe. The events are co-sponsored by the City of Storm Lake and the SALUD Multicultural Health Coalition.
