A Laurens man was recently arrested on a felony drug charge in Sheldon.
According to the Sheldon Police Department, 47-year-old Jeremy Noah of Laurens was found with several items of drug paraphernalia in his possession, including a pill bottle, small glass jar, and a small glass vial that were all modified to consume controlled substances, and two torch lighters. He also had a glass pipe, small glass tubes, clear tubing, and a mirror all containing white crystalline substance. The substance on the mirror and in the glass jar field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Noah was booked into the O’Brien County Jail for 3rd or Subsequent Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class D felony. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 14th.
