King’s Pointe Waterpark Season About to Begin as Renovations Wind Down

Renovations are wrapping up on the King’s Pointe indoor and outdoor waterparks.

According to a news release, the outdoor waterpark has been filled, but it will likely take a few more days to reach comfortable weather for opening due to expected cooler temperatures and wind. The current target date for opening is Memorial Day, weather permitting.

A soft opening of the indoor waterpark will be held tomorrow (Sat) for hotel guests only while a few renovation details are still being completed. Current plans are to open the indoor waterpark to the public starting later this holiday weekend, Sunday from 1 to 9pm, and Memorial Day from 11am to 5pm. Admission for those two days will be five dollars for all ages, cash only. Children three years old or younger will be admitted for free with a parent or guardian. Park access is limited to the facility’s safety capacity. The Snack Shack will not be open this weekend due to renovation, but the concessions area is expected to open during the coming week.

Schedules are subject to change based on conditions. Follow the King’s Pointe Facebook page for updates and the latest information on the parks throughout the season.
