A reminder that the Storm Lake City Council recently approved doubling the city’s contribution toward taxi rides for the fiscal year that began on Monday, July 1st.
Coupons for two dollars off on taxi rides can be requested at Storm Lake City Hall. The coupons are good for all rides within city limits, and can be used with either the Storm Lake Cab Company or Storm Lake Transit RIDES.
The City of Storm Lake has assisted with one-dollar coupons in the past, but the city council opted for the increase this fiscal year due to rising costs for households.
