A boil advisory went into effect for some residents in the City of Ida Grove late this (Wed) morning.
The drinking water boil advisory is due to a water main break at the intersection of Park Lane and Center Lane. The boil advisory is in effect for Badger Creek Drive and south to include all of Zobel’s Addition. The City of Ida Grove advises residents in those areas to not consume water for approximately 48 hours. Water meant for drinking, cooking, or consuming should be boiled first. If water appears to be discolored, run an outdoor faucet or cold water for several minutes.
The City of Ida Grove will provide an update once more information is received.
