The boil advisory in Ida Grove that was issued earlier this week has been lifted.
According to information from the City of Ida Grove’s website, results from the second round of water samples have come back and passed all requirements. The boil advisory was lifted this (Thur) morning. It was issued on Tuesday morning for the entire community due to a short-term outage during Ida Grove’s ongoing transition from the old water system to the new one. The transition caused a loss of pressure, and the City in a previous statement said they are doing everything they can to avoid a future disruption.
A boil advisory was in effect for a portion of Ida Grove for a couple of days last week.
