A limited supply of updated COVID vaccine boosters are now available by appointment at select Hy-Vee Pharmacy locations.
The updated boosters are reformulated to target versions of the latest Omicron sub-variants, as well as the original virus strain.
Individuals age 12 and older may receive a single dose of the updated Pfizer COVID booster at least two months after their last COVID vaccine dose.
Individuals 18 and older can get a single dose of the updated Moderna COVID booster at least two months after their last COVID dose.
Eligible individuals must complete their primary COVID vaccination series before they receive a booster. Schedule an appointment at www.hy-vee.com/covidvaccine. Patients can request to receive a flu vaccine at the same time of receiving their COVID booster.
