Today, expect sunny skies with a southwest wind of around 10 mph, while tomorrow brings a good chance of rain showers and thunderstorms and a wind from the south of up to 20 mph.
Temperatures will cool off to the mid to upper 70s on Wednesday for the remainder of the week, before reaching 80 degrees on Sunday.
At this point, these next two days will be the hottest days of the year. Storm Lake peaked at 90 degrees a few times during the month of June.
