There was a heavy police presence in the Chloe Lane area of Storm Lake late Friday night due to a domestic disturbance involving a gun.
According to the Storm Lake Police Department, officers were called to a residence in the 700 block of Chloe Lane. An individual was armed with a handgun, and was holding the gun to their head. A police hostage negotiator was called to the scene. Prior to the arrival of the negotiator, two individuals exited the residence and surrendered to officers.
Both individuals were taken into custody for questioning.
