Storm Lake United’s Interim Executive Director, Fletcher Kucera is resigning on August 23rd to pursue another local opportunity.
During Kucera’s tenure, the Storm Lake United successfully hosted innovative programs, events, United Coffees and Business After Hours aimed at bolstering networking opportunities, promoting entrepreneurship and fostering business partnerships.
Brooke Sievers, Storm Lake United Board President, doesn’t expect any changes to the organization’s event schedule.
Upon completion of the strategic plan, Storm Lake United will begin the recruitment process and welcomes applications from candidates who share a passion for community development and possess strong leadership qualities.
Kucera was named SLU Interim Executive Director in February, two weeks after it was announced that Breanna Horsey would be stepping down from the Executive Director position.
