Iowa 4th District Congressman Randy Feenstra kicked off his biannual 36 County Tour on Wednesday by making a stop in Ida Grove.
Feenstra visited the Ida County Sheriff’s Office to promote his newly-introduced “Honoring Police Officer and K-9 Service Act.” The legislation would help cover the cost of operating K-9 units, and provide quality care for the K-9’s, including vet bills and support after a dog retires from active duty.
Feenstra met with Ida County Sheriff Wade Harriman and the Ida County Sheriff’s K-9 dog Wednesday morning.
