4th District Congressman Randy Feenstra today (Wed) announced he will seek re-election to a 3rd term as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
According to a news release, Feenstra has secured the endorsements of every statewide elected Republican and the full Iowa congressional delegation. Feenstra has also been endorsed by several state legislators, including area representative Megan Jones.
Feenstra was first elected to the U.S. House in 2020 after he defeated longtime representative Steve King in the primary election. Feenstra then defeated Democrat J.D. Scholten in the general election. In 2022, Feenstra defeated Democratic challenger Ryan Melton in the general election to win a 2nd term in Congress.
