A drawing for literary gift baskets from the Storm Lake Public Library was held on Wednesday.
Winners included Kim and Rick Martin, Larson Oil, Heartland Insurance, and Rick and Carol Peterson. The literary baskets are a project of the non-profit Friends of the Library, which helps fund programming, furnishings, and other improvements to the public library facility. Basket sponsors this year included the Sugar Bowl, Grand Central Coffee Station, the Mystery Book Club, and Library Board of Trustees.
Although the holiday drawing has ended, the public may still join the Friends of the Library group for a nominal fee, or make a donation to help improve the Storm Lake Library. Ask the library desk for more information.
