A LifeServe Blood Center blood drive is coming up in Pocahontas.
The event will be held on Tuesday, January 16th from 12:30 to 5:30pm at the Pocahontas County Expo Center located at 310 NE 1st Street in Pocahontas. Schedule an appointment online at www.lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 800-287-4903.
According to a news release from LifeServe, recent winter weather has caused blood drive cancellations, which has impacted blood supply. In one hour, a single blood donor will help save or enhance the lives of up to three hospital patients in local medical centers.
