Dense Fog Said to Have Been a Factor in Northwest Iowa Accident That Involved Three Semis

Dense fog is believed to have been a factor in an accident Wednesday morning in Osceola County that involved three semis and an SUV.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident happened shortly before 8am Wednesday at the intersection of Highway 59 and 260th Street. The driver of one of the semi’s was a 35-year-old unidentified male from Sioux Rapids. The driver of the SUV was a 33-year-old female from Cherokee.

Dense fog was reportedly present at the time of the accident. No injuries were reported.
