Several Crop Advantage Series meetings are scheduled across the state in January, including one locally.
The meetings will give producers a solid foundation of current research-based crop production information to help make smart, informed decisions for their farming operation. The meetings are an opportunity for farmers and crop advisors to hear current research and crop production information from Iowa State University. Specialists from ISU Extension will be on hand.
A meeting will be held on Thursday, January 2nd from 9:30am to 4:35pm at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. Early registration before the end of December 26th costs 75 dollars. Registration after that date or on-site is 100 dollars. Registration includes lunch, refreshment breaks, and CCA credits. The Private pesticide applicator recertification fee is 30 dollars paid to the local county Extension Office.
