The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development will welcome four new board members for 2025.
Two of the new board members are Katherine Cota, Director of the Lamberti Center for Rural Entrepreneurship at Buena Vista University…and Storm Lake City Council member Matt Ricklefs.
Cota and Ricklefs were voted to three-year terms on the Corridor board starting January 1st.
Returning board members include Board Chair Nate Wittmaack of RANCO Fertiservice.
BVU President Brian Lenzmeier and Storm Lake Mayor Mike Porsch are among those who will end their terms on December 31st. Lenzmeier served on the board for four years, and Porsch served for six years.
The Corridor Board of Directors consists of four Corridor member representatives from each of the four counties in the Corridor’s four regions of Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, and Emmet. Board members serve three-year terms, and are eligible for two consecutive terms.
