The total attendance for this year’s Clay County Fair was 297 thousand 299 over the nine-day run.
Grandstand shows brought 14 thousand 549 attendees.
Preliminary fairgoer spending on food, beverages, specialty concessions, and carnival rides surpassed 3.3 million dollars, breaking the previous record set last year.
458 unique commercial exhibitors, concessionaires, and vendors from 37 states were part of this year’s Clay County Fair, including 150 agriculture-specific exhibitors.
790 4-H and FFA exhibitors from 52 counties across Iowa and Minnesota participated in livestock and human sciences events.
