With multiple inches of snow in the forecast, the City of Storm Lake has declared a Snow Emergency, which will begin tomorrow (Wed) at 10pm, running until this Friday at 6am.
Remember that during a Snow Emergency, parking is NOT allowed on Storm Lake residential streets from 10pm to 6am. Parking isn’t allowed on Central Business District streets from 2am to 6am. Parking also isn’t allowed in downtown public parking lots designated as Lot B and Lot D.
During a Snow Emergency, parking IS allowed in downtown public parking lots designated as Lot A and Lot C.
Vehicles found to be in violation of the City of Storm Lake’s snow policy may be ticketed and/or towed. More information can be found at www.213snow.com.
