The City of Storm Lake has declared a Snow Emergency effective from 10pm tonight (Wed) through Friday at 6am.
The Snow Emergency tomorrow night (Thur) will apply to the Central Business District only, unless conditions change.
A few parking regulations are in effect during a Storm Lake Snow Emergency…
Parking is not allowed on residential areas between 10pm and 6am.
Parking is not allowed on streets in the Central Business District from 2am to 6am.
Parking is not allowed in downtown public parking lots designated as Lot B and Lot D.
Overnight parking in downtown public parking lots A and C IS allowed during a Snow Emergency.
Vehicles found to be in violation of the snow policy may be ticketed and/or towed.
