The City of Storm Lake will be under a Snow Emergency from 10pm tonight (Thur) until 6am this coming Sunday, January 21st.
A reminder that during a Snow Emergency, parking is not allowed on streets in residential areas of Storm Lake between the hours of 10pm and 6am. Parking is not allowed on streets in the Central Business District from 2am to 6am. Parking is also prohibited on streets in downtown public parking lots designated as Lot B and Lot D from 2am to 6am. Overnight parking during a Snow Emergency IS allowed in downtown public parking lots A and C.
Vehicles found to be in violation of the City’s snow policy may be ticketed and/or towed. Additional information on the City of Storm Lake Snow Emergency policy can be found at www.213snow.com.
