Cherokee Regional Medical Center Acquires Sutherland Medical Clinic

Cherokee Regional Medical Center has acquired the MercyOne Sutherland Family Medicine Clinic in Sutherland.

The acquisition went into effect this past Saturday. CRMC also announces that Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Brooke Fiddelke has joined its medical staff and will continue seeing patients at the new Sutherland Medical Clinic. Former MercyOne clinic patients are invited to transfer their care to Cherokee Regional’s new Sutherland Medical Clinic.

The Sutherland Medical Clinic, provided by Cherokee Regional, opens today (Mon). The clinic joins Cherokee Medical Clinic, Holstein Medical Clinic, Aurelia Medical Clinic, and Marcus Medical Clinic as Cherokee Regional’s 5th rural healthcare clinic. Office hours will vary in the immediate future due to timing of insurance and provider contracts during the transition period.

CRMC will be hosting a town hall event for those wanting more information about the clinic transition process and how to access health care services. The town hall will be held at the R.L. Johannsen Center in Sutherland on Thursday, October 17th starting at 6:30pm. The public is invited to attend.
