Cherokee Regional Medical Center is accepting applications for scholarships.
Applications are being taken for Cherokee Regional Auxiliary, Cherokee Regional Foundation, Kenneth Hobson Memorial, and John M. Comstock scholarship opportunities for graduating high school students interested in a human health care career within a hospital or medical clinic inpatient/outpatient setting. All scholarships require students to be a resident of the Cherokee Regional service area, a senior in good standing, and entering a human health care field to qualify.
Additionally, the Cherokee County Suicide Prevention Coalition will be offering their annual scholarship to a senior in Cherokee County entering a health care, social work, or public service occupation. The Cherokee Regional Foundation will also be offering a scholarship for Cherokee Regional employees who are continuing their education.
