Buena Vista University is reporting its highest undergraduate enrollment for this school year in the last eight years, as well as a new record in graduate enrollment.
The first-year undergraduate class on the BVU campus in Storm Lake is primarily made up of students who hail across Iowa and throughout the Midwest region.
BVU has launched two scholarship opportunities for this fall’s undergraduate recruits. The Iowa Access Grant ensures that qualifying Iowa students receive total tuition coverage. The Build-Up Iowa Scholarship provides all qualifying Iowa students with an additional two-thousand dollars per year, and is renewable for up to four years.
U.S. News and World Report has once again recognized BVU in several categories including Best Regional Universities in the Midwest, Best Value among Regional Universities in the Midwest, and Top Performers on Social Mobility among Regional Universities in the Midwest.
BVU has also launched two new online Master of Arts in Teacher programs in Special Education and Secondary Education, and has also forged a partnership with Des Moines University to create enhanced pathways for students seeking medical and health sciences careers.
