Buena Vista University is hosting its second intercollegiate rodeo this Friday and Saturday, October 6th and 7th at 7pm both nights at the BV County Fairgrounds in Alta.

Barnes says about 15 colleges from six different states will be featured. There’s only one participant competing on the BVU team at this time, but Barnes says they have plenty of JV members who are preparing…
Tickets are available onsite. The cost is 15 dollars for those 16 and up, seven dollars for ages 11 to 15, and children ten and under are free.
Photo opportunities will be available with Marty’s daughter, Miss Rodeo Iowa winner Micah Barnes, on both days of the rodeo.
